Privacy Policy - The Basics

What to Include in the Privacy Policy
Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors and customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much, much more.

Return Policy & Cancellations
• Information collected: Name, email address, and order details. For consultations, intake form responses are also collected. Pictures or photos of your skin and your date of birth are not collected.
• Payments: Payments are processed by Stripe. Full card numbers are never seen or stored.
• How information is used: Only to deliver purchases, conduct consultations, and respond to questions. Personal information is never sold or shared for advertising or marketing purposes.
• Retention: Intake form responses are kept for up to 12 months after the session, then deleted.
• Your choices: To view, correct, or delete your information, email ritualcues@gmail.com.

Q: How do I book a consultation?
A: Select 1:1 Online Consultation, choose an available date and time, and complete checkout. Payment is processed through Stripe at checkout.
Q: Is there an intake form?
A: Yes. A short intake form is completed during checkout, before payment, so your session can focus on you from the start.
Q: How will I receive the meeting link?
A: A Google Meet link is emailed once your booking is complete, and a reminder is emailed 24 hours before your session. If you don't see either email, please check your spam folder.
Q: What days and times are available?
A: Availability varies. Open dates and times are shown when you book a 1:1 Online Consultation.
Q: Can a consultation help with a skin condition?
A: Yes. Consultation sessions are intended for educational wellness guidance only. They are not medical care and do not replace seeing a dermatologist for a diagnosis.
Q: Is the session recorded?
A: No. Sessions are held on Google Meet and are not recorded.
Q: What do I receive?
A: A personalized outline, shared with you as a PDF during your session.
Q: How do I reschedule or cancel?
A: Email ritualcues@gmail.com. Fees depend on how much notice is given and whether it's your first booking. Full details are on the Policies page.
Q: What if I'm running late?
A: There is a 10-minute grace period. If you join within 10 minutes, the session ends at its scheduled time and the full price applies. If you don't join within 10 minutes, the session is considered missed and is not refunded. A missed session can be rescheduled for a $50 fee.
