Privacy Policy - The Basics
Having said that, a privacy policy is a statement that discloses some or all of the ways a website collects, uses, discloses, processes, and manages the data of its visitors and customers. It usually also includes a statement regarding the website’s commitment to protecting its visitors’ or customers’ privacy, and an explanation about the different mechanisms the website is implementing in order to protect privacy.
Different jurisdictions have different legal obligations of what must be included in a Privacy Policy. You are responsible to make sure you are following the relevant legislation to your activities and location.
What to Include in the Privacy Policy
Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors and customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much, much more.

Policies
Return Policy & Cancellations
Digital products (PDF guides) are delivered immediately after purchase. All sales are final. Duplicate charges will be refunded, and a replacement copy will be sent if a file won't download or open.
Consultations. “Notice” means how far ahead of your scheduled session time you cancel or reschedule.
First booking (new clients)
• Reschedule with 24+ hours' notice: free. Under 24 hours: $25 rebooking fee.
• Cancel with 48+ hours' notice: full refund. Under 48 hours: $50 cancellation fee, and the remaining balance is refunded.
• Cancelling a session that has already been rescheduled: 50% cancellation fee, regardless of notice.
Returning clients
• Reschedule with 48+ hours' notice: free. Under 48 hours: $25 rebooking fee.
• Cancel with 48+ hours' notice: full refund. Under 48 hours: $50 cancellation fee, and the remaining balance is refunded.
All clients
• Late arrivals: There is a 10-minute grace period. The session still ends at its scheduled time.
• Missed sessions (not joined within 10 minutes) are not refunded and may be rebooked for a $50 fee.
• After 3 cancellations or reschedules in a row within 3 months, the request and future bookings may be declined. The count resets after 3 sessions are attended in good standing.
Privacy
• Information collected: Name, email address, and order details. For consultations, intake form responses are also collected. Pictures or photos of your skin and your date of birth are not collected.
• Payments: Payments are processed by Stripe. Full card numbers are never seen or stored.
• How information is used: Only to deliver purchases, conduct consultations, and respond to questions. Personal information is never sold or shared for advertising or marketing purposes.
• Retention: Intake form responses are kept for up to 12 months after the session, then deleted.
• Your choices: To view, correct, or delete your information, email ritualcues@gmail.com.
